Growing up on Long Island Sound in New York, painter Francis Mastrangelo learned to sail at a young age. His next love was drawing and it is no surprise that Francis became a noted painter of nautical themes. He is entirely self-taught, and his subjects encompass a broad range, although maritime subjects remain his passion.. He resides in Washington State with his wife and three children.
