Rita Broughton

Rita Broughton graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York with a degree in textile design.  She also studied graphic design at the School of Visual Arts.    Rita later developed her ability for decorative painting using faux finishes and the Trompe L' oeil style (French for fooling the eye). She uses her many talents to paint a variety of subjects including florals, kitchen themes and Tuscan scenes.
